Today is a beautiful, crisp winter day here near Shin-Fuji. The sky is a pale, clear blue, and the afternoon sun is hitting the slopes perfectly. It’s currently about 6°C (43°F), so it feels quite chilly with the wind.
Highlights
• Visibility: 10/10. You can see every ridge and crater clearly from the city.
• Snow Condition: The “hat” of snow is thick and white, extending far down the mountainside. This is the classic winter look everyone loves!
• Local Tip: If you are taking photos near Shin-Fuji Station like I did, look up—sometimes the local birds resting on the power lines make for a unique “urban” Fuji shot.
