Hi, I’m Take — born and raised in Fujinomiya.
On this blog I share practical, local tips so you can enjoy the area like a friend of a local.
Today’s Spot (great for first-time visitors)
- Where: Along Tozandō (the main street heading toward the Mt. Fuji Fujinomiya trailhead).
- Landmark: A tall bank sign on the roadside, power lines and traffic signs in the foreground, and Mt. Fuji rising straight ahead. If you look carefully, you’ll also spot a distant “Ramen” sign—very “everyday Japan.”
- Why it’s charming: It’s Local Life × Mt. Fuji—not a postcard overlook, but the mountain appearing right in the middle of a normal city scene.
Getting There (quick guide)
- Nearest station: Fujinomiya Station (JR Minobu Line).
- How to go: From the north side of the station, walk toward Tozandō. Search your map for “Tozandō, Fujinomiya” and follow the main street; you’ll find similar views along the way.
