Introduction
Today is Sunday, January 18, 2026. It is an exceptionally beautiful day here in Fujinomiya. While it’s mid-winter, it feels surprisingly mild today with the temperature reaching around 12°C (54°F). The sun is out, there’s hardly any wind, and it honestly feels like an early spring afternoon!
Highlights
- Visibility: 10/10The air is incredibly clear today. You can see every ridge and crater detail on the mountain. As shown in my photo, there isn’t a single cloud in the sky to block the view.
- TI captured this shot at the McDonald’s in Miyahara. .There’s something so quintessentially Fujinomiya about seeing the iconic Golden Arches paired with the most famous mountain in the world. It’s where the local life meets the majestic nature.
- Snow Condition:The snow cap is perfectly symmetrical and reaches deep down the mountainside. Against the bright blue sky, the white peak looks almost glowing. Because it’s a bit warmer today (12℃), the air feels less “sharp” than usual for January, making it perfect for a long walk or a bike ride around town.
